About Savanna Oaks Solutions
Why Savanna Oaks Solutions?
As a child, and as a parent, I found shelter, shade, joy and delight among the oak savannas of the American Midwest. In this unique ecosystem where woodlands meet prairie, we find openness and light, strength and beauty, and diversity of life.
As a family, we’ve laughed and played in piles of leaves, and gathered and burned branches and acorns among those oak trees. And we’re reminded that life’s joys include play, but also hard work, challenge, and even suffering and trials-by-fire. Fire is nature’s way to help the oak savanna thrive and to build the resilience of savanna oaks, which are uniquely resistant to fire.
Here’s a picture for both life and the coaching process—having someone walk alongside you, and help you thrive through hardship, crisis and pain. A coach can strengthen and stretch you to reach your potential and your goals as you become even stronger and more resilient.
Just as oak savannas thrive where woodland and prairie converge, Savanna Oaks Solutions offers coaching at the convergence of neuroscience and faith. You’ll find insights and solutions for life and work using cutting-edge neuroscientific tools from The Results Coaching System (TM) and from brain-based relationship skills—and if you choose, from the wisdom of ancient Scripture and from a loving God who wants to bring hope and lasting transformation.

As a faith trained leader with biblical foundation and years of ministry experience, I can also help navigate insights from faith, if you are interested in choosing this option.
My approach is to listen, support, provide direction, guide you on everyday life and work issues, help you grow and take action steps. I can also connect you to a group where you can find additional friends for your journey.
Therapists can do the same, but also diagnose and treat medical issues or more serious mental health issues. Yet many prefer coaching when therapy is not needed. But if an issue becomes more serious or you need more help, I can refer you to a specialist.
